The M 92.1 S exhibits high sensitivity and with that an excellent signal-to-noise ratio. lt has the typical warm full sound of tube microphones which is especially preferred by singers and soloists.

The M 92.1 S vacuum tube-condenser microphone is suited or difficult radio play recordings as well as supporting microphone for orchestra recordings. The time proven pressure gradient transducer of the M 92.1 S uses two large diameter gold sputtered plastic membranes.The vacuum tube preamplifier is equipped with pentode working as triode selected for its sonic characteristics.

The N 920.1 power supply provides the operating voltages for the vacuum tube-condenser microphone. It can be powered from a.c. mains with the primary voltage of 115 or 230 volts 50 or 60 Hz.It is recommended to set the heater voltage of the power supply to 5,8 volts by your service work-shop for cable lengths longer than 50 meters.

The N 920.1 is equipped with the on/off- switch, the 7-pin Tuchel connector which powers the microphone and a 3-pin XLR connector for audio output and the a.c. mains connector with integrated voltage selector switch.The complete system includes the M 92.1 S Microphone packed with N 920.1 power supply, C 92.1 microphone cable and an elastic suspension. This version comes in a flight case and with an EA 92 elastic suspension.
