BBC/EMI – 1960’s Console

Rare vintage mixing console

Rare to the point of being unique, this stunning 1960’s console would offer the perfect centrepiece for any upmarket studio.

This was originally made for the BBC as a portable console (and still contains the original tiny fire extinguisher in the transit cupboard). However, we suspect that it was made by, or in conjunction with, EMI as the active electronics are classic EMI germanium discrete op amps.

Funky quadrant faders, beautiful original a rare collector’s piece.

Allthough not for sale this console is on display at Funky Junk HQ.
