BREXIT EU-UK Customer Update 

As most of you will likely be aware, an EU-UK trade deal has been officially signed, sealed and delivered. Many of our customers will no doubt be wondering what’s changed in regards to placing orders through Funky Junk, in particular those based in the EU.

The short answer: Not much! It’s business as usual, with effectively no change to UK-based and non-EU customers. For our EU-based customers, there are however some welcome advantages to note…

Funky Junk now operates as part of a pan-European group, with physical branches based in both the UK and across the EU. What does this mean for you? Well, for EU-based customers and businesses, orders can now be conveniently fulfilled by either a UK or EU branch – logistically speaking, depending on which best suits your needs.

For example:

  • If you’re a VAT registered EU-based business, you will now benefit from VAT-free ordering, as well as expedited delivery times on items stocked/based in the EU. No cross-border delays!
  • Likewise, for non VAT-registered EU-based customers, you now have the advantage of being able to purchase direct from Funky Junk UK at Ex-VAT prices. 

In either instance, simply continue to place your order through FJ London, and that order will then be allocated and fulfilled by the relevant EU-based branch.*
