    At the time of writing, I have yet to put the new Mojave tube mics through their paces in a session, but knowing their pedigree and the history of designer, Dave Royer, I’d be amazed if they don’t live up to the highfalutin` claims currently being made for them.

    Dave Royer is the design genius behind most of the Royer range of ribbon mics, and not merely did he get them right, he continues to break new ground with ribbon design. Any tube condenser coming from his design pen has a formidable pedigree to maintain.
