Payment

• Use bank draft, bank transfer, company cheque or cash.
• Mastercard, Visa and American Express* accepted as well.
• PayPal accepted. **

(* A 2.5% surcharge will be added on all American Express transactions. ** A 3% surcharge will be added on all PayPal transactions.)

Warranty

• • Used - outboard, mics, monitors etc - 3 months parts and labour.
  • Multitrack Recorders - guarranteed serviced prior to sale.
  • Consoles - as stated on invoice

VAT

UK
VAT will be charged at 17.5%. Packing and overnight shipping is charged at £15.00 + VAT for most items below 20kg.

EEC
If customers have a VAT (TVA) registration number this should be included on their order confirmation. Goods will be supplied tax free. If customers are not registered, VAT will be charged at 15%. Typical UPS three day shipping cost is £30, but we will quote on individual orders.

USA
All goods are sold tax free, although import duty may be charged by US customs.
All shipping will require an individual quote.

THE REST OF THE WORLD
All goods are sold tax free. Individual shipping quotes will be given for all orders.
In many countries duty may be payable upon receipt; you should check with your local customs office for local details.

Terms Of Sale

Funky Junk Limited has established an enviable reputation world-wide for the quality of goods supplied and our prompt and efficient after sales service.
For the avoidance of doubt we suggest you read the following terms and conditions of sales carefully.

All new and ex demo items carry full manufacturers warranty supported by FJ/Boffin Island in house service unless otherwise stated.

Service and repair work carries a three month warranty on the repair only.

All used outboard, microphones, amplifiers, and monitors are fully serviced prior to sales and carry three months FJ warranty unless otherwise stated with the exception of microphone capsules, tubes and loudspeaker drivers unless otherwise stated. Funky Junk Limited reserve the right to offer a refund in the event that repairs are not economical.

Warranties on used goods are not transferable by the purchaser.

In the event of damage by the purchaser or unauthorised attempt to modify or repair units, all warranties are void.
Funky Junk Limited is not responsible for damage to equipment during shipment. Before signing for any delivery, examine all items for signs of damage. If any damage is found, make certain the delivering agent notes the damage on the release form before signing. If goods have been damaged, please notify and make a claim immediately with the shipping courier. (Notify us once your claim has been processed and we will help expedite matters in any way possible. Always save the original carton in which products have been shipped.

All multitrack machines and consoles are sold 'as seen' with no warranty given unless otherwise stated. It is our policy to service consoles and recorders prior to sale but no warranty is given or implied unless otherwise stated. Buyers are strongly advised to inspect the goods personally or commission an independent technical report prior to purchase.

In the event of faults within the warranty period, the buyer must notify us immediately giving details of the fault and obtain a return authorisation prior to returning the goods. Our warranty is restricted to parts and labour and does not include shipping costs or any travel costs that we might incur.

Exchange goods or loan items during the duration of repair will only be supplied at the discretion of Funky Junk Limited. No liability will be accepted by Funky Junk Limited for the non-performance or breakdown of any equipment.

Prices do not include carriage or shipping unless otherwise stated. Prices do not include VAT or duty.

Goods will be supplied net of Value Added Tax whithin the EEC only where a valid VAT/TVA registration number is provided.

International Orders
Please provide us with your shipping account number to enable us to process your order. Since import taxes and or duties that your goverment might impose on products shipped from the UK may apply, Funky Junk Limited reserves the right to ship only on your account. This eliminates charges billed to us when the shipper cannot or does not collect duties and tax from the receiver. A Fed Ex or UPS account can be established over the phone in minutes, please look up the local number on their web site (www.federalexpress.com) or (www.ups.com) in order to open an account. These are the safest methods of shipment.

Bank Wire
Bank details will be provided on request. We cannot ship until bank wires have been confirmed. Please fax us a copy of the wire transaction  provided by your bank to speed up this process.

Credit Card
***NOTE*** We can only ship your order to the address to which the credit card is issued. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number, which are the same as your credit card issuer has on file for you. Incorrect information will delay the processing of your order. In addition, you will have to sign for your package.
