Lexicon is to reverbs what Hoover is to vacuum cleaners - hte brand is synonomous with the best in digital reverberation.

We still sell as many of the classic Lex's (PCM70,s, 200's, 224. 224XL, 480L) as we can get our avaricious mits on, for the simple reason that they have a density of sound and a realism lacking in any other unit. Ever wondered how your favourite record got that rich vocal or drum reverb? Wonder no more - odds on it was a mainframe Lex (or an EMT plate). The classic Lexicon sound wraps itself around a signal, becoming part of the sound rather than floating above as so many modern reverbs do. Indeed, word has it that the 480L was eventually discontinued due to high manufacturing costs rather than lack of demand, and judging by the constant enquiries for used reasons, I can believe it.

We are lucky to number the best Lexicon repairman in Europe amongst our freelance workshop staff. Simon Flinn has been servicing Lexicons since he was in short trousers and frequently dips into his bucket of rare spares to fix units that even the manufacturer can't deal with. So when you buy a Lex from Funky Junk, not merely has it been sericed by an expert, we warranty it and can offer continuing support well into the future.
